Email Newsletter Delivers Coastal Recovery News Straight to You

November 7, 2023

NOAA’s Damage Assessment, Remediation, and Restoration Program (DARRP) is excited to announce the launch of the Coastal Recovery email newsletter! Subscribers will have access to semi-monthly news of interest to them in a speedy and informative manner—delivered straight to their inboxes. This is a new way to stay in tune with work that NOAA and our co-trustees are doing that matters to you. We will share opportunities to engage and provide input, as well as stories that highlight different aspects of our work.

For more than 30 years, NOAA and partners have recovered more than $10.71 billion from responsible parties to restore natural resources after oil spills, ship groundings, and hazardous waste releases. Restoration also provides economic and cultural benefits to coastal communities, including those disproportionately impacted by pollution in over 30 states as well as Puerto Rico

Those interested in DARRP happenings can select from one or more of the following topics to stay ‘in the know’ about:

  • National and all regional updates
  • Northeast and Great Lakes
  • Northwest and Alaska
  • Southeast/Caribbean
  • Southwest and Pacific Islands
