NOAA and other natural resource trustees have prepared a Draft Damage Assessment and Restoration Plan/Environmental Assessment for the Koppers Co., Inc. Natural Resource Damage Assessment. The plan outlines our injury assessment and restoration planning process related to the Koppers site case in Charleston, South Carolina. It also describes the restoration actions we are proposing to compensate the public.

​The document will be available for public review and comment until November 21, 2016. Following the public review period, we will finalize the plan and move forward with the responsible party to implement restoration.​
