Case: Castro Cove/Chevron Richmond, CA

ANNOUNCEMENT: The close of the public comment period for the Castro Cove Draft Damage Assessment and Restoration Plan has been extended to January 16th, 2009.

The trustees released a public draft Damage Assessment and Restoration Plan/Environmental Assessment on November 25, 2008, with a comment period extending from that date until January 9, 2009. A copy of the draft DARP/EA, and a summary fact sheet, may be obtained by clicking on the links below, or may be viewed in the Reference Department of the Richmond Public Library, Main Branch, 325 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond, CA 94804, and at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Office at 501 West Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802. Copies may also be obtained by contacting Ms. Trina Heard at (562) 980-4070.

A public work shop is being held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Point Richmond Community Center, 139 Washington Avenue, Richmond, California on December 17, 2008.
