Remedial/Injury Assessment
Case: Calcasieu Estuary Bayou D’Inde,
LA
Source: Petrochemical facilities located along Bayou d’Inde.
Release: Heavy metals, PAHs, Volatile and semi-volatile
compounds, and PCBs.
Status: At this time, an injury assessment has not been
conducted for Bayou d’Inde. The Trustees are currently working with LDEQ and
the Bayou d’Inde Group to identify the extent of contamination within the
bayou, and determine potential remedial solutions.
