The salmon are held in aerated tanks (see photos 1-5), and then transported in buckets (photo 6) to the adjacent lab to be weighed and measured (7,8). The temperature and salinity of tanks, along with the size and weight measurements of the fish are recorded and continually monitored by computer (9).
