Restoration Activities
Case: Kinder Morgan Sodium Hydroxide Spill, NJ
Within nine months of the incident, an agreement was reached whereby the
responsible party provided $90,000 to the New Jersey Department of
Environmental Protection to enhance ongoing wetlands restoration projects in
Woodbridge, New Jersey. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
(NOAA) was fully reimbursed for its assessment costs.
