On June 14, 2004, trustees of the Chalk Point/Swanson Creek restoration site,
the Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco), Congressman Steny Hoyer, and the
public celebrated a restoration milestone on Maryland's Patuxent River. The
effort included planting 10 million oysters to create an oyster reef sanctuary.
