The Trustees have acquired a cash settlement to fund restoration activities to compensate for the injuries to shoreline resources caused by the spill. USFWS is the lead administrative trustee for this spill and will develop a draft restoration plan and environmental assessment (draft RP/EA). The draft RP/EA will describe potential compensatory restoration projects identified and evaluated by the Trustees, including a preferred alternative for implementation. After a public notice and comment period, the Trustees will then produce a final RP/EA.
