Restoration Projects
during 2006 included two projects sponsored by the St . Lawrence Trustee
Council, ALCOA, and General Motors. Both the Thompson Island Youth Camp and the
Akwesane Freedom School provided youth with opportunities to learn about their
local environment and tribal culture.
