DuPage River Restoration, IL

Purpose: Habitat restoration and watershed enhancement along the West Branch DuPage River.

Location: DuPage County, Illinois

Overview: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has provided grant funds to the DuPage County Department of Development and Environmental Concerns, for the implementation of habitat restoration and watershed enhancement projects along the West Branch DuPage River. These projects are in addition to and complementary to ongoing remediation and mitigation work at the Kerr McGee/West Branch DuPage River Superfund Site.
